Ozone solutions for water processes and waste reduction

Are you facing issues with non-biodegradable pollution, bio-recalcitrant components or micro-contaminant contents? Do you have costly waste that cannot be treated on your biological plant?

Anywhere where bio-treatments reach their limits due to a partial or total non-biodegradability of the influent, ozone could be a solution. Ozone reacts as a strong oxidising component able to oxidise recalcitrant molecules that cannot be destroyed with conventional biological methods.

Our Halia® ozone systems, based on simple or combined oxidations are usually used to destroy strong specific pollutions. Our solutions can be applied upstream or downstream of an existing biological treatment plant with the aim to increase the treatment efficiency on specific molecules.

These technologies are previously tested in our laboratories to determine the efficiencies before being implemented on the water plant. Ozone solutions help achieving chemically the treatments but can also be integrated to reduce by 80% the sludge production of a conventional biological process.

For ozone applications, Air Products supplies oxygen to produce high concentrated flows of ozone as well as some dissolution systems and the associated expertize, with the target of performances increase, costs reductions in energy and maintenance.
